On May 19-23 local time, the 140th annual conference of International Trademark Association (INTA annual conference) was held in Washington Convention Center in Seattle, the United States. Over 10,000 people from 150 countries and regions attended this conference. At the opening ceremony held on May 20, Mr. Eienne Sanz de Acedo, the CEO of INTA introduced the association’s working achievements of last year and its work plan in future. “INTA attached great importance to the discussion and research of issues like infringement of intellectual property rights and scrambling for registering trademark in China’s e-commerce field. It will assist Chinese government to carry forward related works and provide referential methods and experience to member enterprises and practitioners in intellectual property industry.”

Mrs. Son Yimin and Mr. Zou Pei, the general manager and COO of our company, were invited to attend this conference. On May 21, the representatives from INTA and we held a management meeting, and made in-depth communication and reached an agreement on deepening cooperation and realizing mutual benefit and development. On May 22, we held a meeting with the representatives from the Association of European Trade Mark Owners to discuss the specific arrangement for further cooperation. Furthermore, we also attended the receptions of CTA Forum and China Night held by China Trademark Association, and made full communication with the domestic and foreign guests attended.
